Summary:
Evidence suggest health professionals bear a significant but small contribution to the health of populations. On-health sector professionals designing and executing housing, transportation, manufacturing, communications, and justice, among others, are accountable --often times without even knowing, of a much larger contribution to health. The challenge is to integrate health content into non-health undergraduate and post graduate teaching to accelerate transformation of societies into fairer and healthier societies. Our proposed initiative sets up a path forward.

La salud de la población depende en gran medida de decisiones fuera del ámbito sanitario. Esta iniciativa integra contenidos de salud en estudios como ingeniería, derecho o economía y, mediante recursos flexibles, promueve que futuros profesionales contribuyan a sociedades más justas y saludables.

Health is shaped far beyond healthcare. This initiative brings health into university education across fields like engineering, law, communications, and economics. It uses flexible learning tools to help future professionals build healthier and fairer societies.
